Joseph Shoemaker spent six years in the U.S. Marine Corps as an Avionics Technician and served in Operation Desert Storm. During his time in the Corps he traveled to Asia and Europe.
After his time in the military, he pursued his B.A. degree from the University of South Florida, graduating with honors. He then attended the University of Florida, receiving his J.D. in 2000. Joseph Shoemaker is married and has five sons. In his spare time he enjoys music, movies, and spending time with his family.
