I want to help people, using my training and skills, to protect themselves and their loved ones, legally and to accomplish their financial goals.
I am passionate about business and financial matters (and math!). I find too many people who could have used the assistance of a business attorney and counselor, do not avail themselves of one, and then something unexpected happens, and they find themselves in an avoidable, unwanted situation. I will do my best to help you avoid such circumstances. My practice is limited in scope and much of what I can help you with is located on my website (www.davidgouiran.com), but it is not exhaustive. I will almost always be able to tell you the costs involved in advance, without open-ended hourly billing.
My practice is primarily business matters, Estate Planning, Pre-Marital Agreements (“Prenups”) and Immigration.
I am a native Staten Islander and live and work here still. I graduated from New York University-Stern School of Business (BS) in 1991 before attending Columbia University’s Business School (MBA).
I received a full-tuition scholarship at New York Law School, made Law Review, graduating in 1997 and taking and passing the NY and NJ Bar Exams.
I worked for two large investment banks on Wall Street as a corporate attorney during the subsequent 7 years. After that, I decided to work for myself as a lawyer, financial advisor and economist. I hope to be able to assist you in any of the Practice Areas in which I specialize.
David
