Samantha Guttenberg joined Mirabella, Kincaid, Frederick & Mirabella in 2020, where she focuses her practice on all areas of family law. She also litigates employment matters involving discrimination and sexual harassment. Samantha recognizes that every case is unique and deserves individualized attention. She strongly believes in working directly with clients to evaluate their goals and develop strategies to meet their needs.
Samantha practices in DuPage, Kane, Kendall, Cook, and McHenry Counties and is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and Women’s Bar Association of Illinois.
Samantha received her Juris Doctor from DePaul University College of Law in 2019. While in law school, Samantha competed on the mock trial team and participated in the Civil Litigation Clinic and Criminal Appeals Clinic. She also volunteered with Wills for Heroes, helping first responders and their families draft important estate planning documents.
Following law school, Samantha worked as an Associate Attorney at one of Chicago’s foremost Plaintiff litigation firms. In this role, she represented injured Plaintiffs in nursing home abuse, wrongful death, and complex medical malpractice cases. As a result, Samantha understands the importance of being compassionate and understanding, while guiding clients through difficult and emotional situations.
In her spare time, Samantha enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and spending time outdoors. She also volunteers with the American Mock Trial Association, judging trial competitions and coaching teams on courtroom procedure and trial practice.
