Rebecca’s experience in private practice has involved representing both husbands and wives in all aspects of matrimonial and family law, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, equitable distribution of assets, spousal support, child support, custody, and post-judgment modification and enforcement. She takes great pride in prioritizing client needs and applying her distinct skills to each case individually. Through her experience in private practice, diverse internships and pro bono work during law school, she has learned how to handle the emotional challenges families face when dealing with divorce. During law school, Rebecca worked as a law clerk at a boutique matrimonial firm in Manhattan, and participated in a clinical internship at the Children’s Law Center where she represented children in custody, visitation and family offense matters. She also interned at the matrimonial department of District Counsel 37 Municipal Employees Legal Services as well as for the Honorable Lee A. Mayersohn, in Supreme Court, Queens County. Additionally, Rebecca has done pro bono work for the Uncontested Divorce Project where she prepared uncontested divorce documents for victims of domestic violence.
