I’m a native Texan, and a general practice attorney with extensive courtroom and appeal experience in family law and civil lawsuits. In general, there is not much that happens in a court of law in the Greater Abilene area that myself or my law firm have not seen and experienced first hand, so we feel uniquely situated to advise people and organizations that interact in these forums. For many people encounters with judges and attorneys within our legal system can be some of their darkest and uncertain times. Knowing that, I take extra care when counseling my clients, interacting with adversaries, and preparing for court. To me, everything that happens in court matters, and while I am in court I look for ways to advance my clients’ interests. I’ve represented injured workers, abandoned spouses, unwanted children, oil companies, service-members, municipalities, heirs to fortunes, blue and white collar professionals, and penniless migrants. I’m not afraid to take a contingency fee case, a case with weak evidence, one with a novel legal issue, or one that will upset the status quo.
