Mark L. Creede is an AV rated (Martindale-Hubbell Preeminent) construction law attorney specializing in private and public work contract disputes involving heavy highway, commercial, and industrial construction, mechanic’s liens, stop payment notices, payment and performance bonds, subdivision bonds, commercial construction defect claims, change orders, delay, disruption, and acceleration claims, bid disputes, surety law, design professional liability and claims, insurance claims, litigation, arbitration, and mediation. He represents general engineering contractors, general building contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, owners, developers, architects, engineers, sureties, and insurance carriers. Mr. Creede is also a construction arbitration panelist with the American Arbitration Association and a member of the AGC California Legal Advisory Committee. Before practicing law, he was a construction engineer for six years, working for Johnson Controls, Inc., San Francisco Branch, specializing in mechanical, electrical, electronic, and digital control systems design and installation, project management, applications software, personnel training, and engineering department management.
