As a criminal defense attorney, my job is to help my clients navigate one of the most difficult times of their lives. To do this, it is critical to address a client’s immediate concerns and fears while also ensuring that any and all long term complications are also considered. My goal is to do everything I can to ensure the criminal charges do not irrevocably alter my client’s life as they know it.
While the primary focus of my practice has been handling Driving While Intoxicated and Driving While Impaired by Drugs cases, I also represent individuals charged with an array of other criminal charges. I will not take a case on if I am not prepared to address their needs fully. This includes going to trial when necessary and negotiating a plea with the prosecutor when this best serves my client’s interests. One complaint I have noticed that many people have is access to their attorney. To ensure that is never the case for my clients, everyone of my clients has my cell phone number and all feel free to call me to discuss their case. I take pride in immediately calling my clients back whenever I am unable to take their initial phone call.
Fundamentally, it is my objective to unburden my clients of the stress associated with their legal circumstances. I believe that allowing my clients to concentrate on their lives and careers while I work to get them the outcome they need is critical to their short term and long term goals. I have found that the best way to accomplish this is by educating my clients on the charges they face and how the system works in relation to them. For me, the only benchmark of success is a happy client. Happy with their outcome and happy with the process by which they got there.
