I truly enjoy teaching and helping people. After college, I taught seventh grade science to children in a low-income area of Los Angeles. It was difficult but incredibly satisfying. I wanted the same experience as an attorney. And while what I do now is also tough, because corporations (the bad ones) go to great lengths and expend a lot of money to deny or cover up their wrongs, every effort is worth the satisfaction of securing some sense of justice for my clients. After law school, I worked as an associate at one of the largest law firms in the world, as ranked by The American Lawyer’s Am Law 200. My practice primarily focused on healthcare litigation. I had the opportunity to work for Fortune 500 companies, individuals and many other clients. Though gratifying, I believed that my career would be more rewarding helping those that were seriously injured by others’ wrongdoing.I transitioned to a national plaintiff’s firm, and while there had several opportunities to help many clients who were grievously hurt or lost loved ones to a defendant’s callous actions. Eventually, I decided to fulfill my desire to open my own law firm, where I could provide the highest level of legal service and personal attention. But I am only the person I am today because of the tremendous support I receive from my family and friends. I could not effectively represent my clients without being able to empathize with them over the often horrific losses they have suffered. I would be devastated if the actions of another led to great harm to my wife, son, daughter, brother, sister or parents. That provides all the motivation and strength I need to make sure your voice will never be silenced.
