With over 10 years of varied legal experience, Trista is a strong, compassionate, and skilled advocate for consumers. After spending the first four years of her career with a consumer protection firm in Minnesota representing consumers in individual and class actions against debt collectors, banks, and credit reporting agencies, she went on to gain experience over the next six years as an associate in one of the largest law firms defending those same institutions; as an in-house attorney for a top-five bank; and then as an in-house attorney for a Texas-based retailer.
About a year after moving to Texas to be closer to family, Trista decided to open her own practice and return to the work she enjoyed most – helping individuals navigate the legal system and fight back against unfair, abusive, and illegal practices. Trista’s unique experience representing both consumers and institutional clients enables her to take a holistic, balanced and practical approach to any dispute. Trista takes the time to understand each client’s individual situation and goals and knows what makes the other side “tick.”
Trista lives in Conroe with her husband, two children, and three elderly dogs. She is a former soccer player, forced to retire her cleats after two torn ACLs, and now spends her spare time outdoors enjoying the warm weather, exploring Texas, and visiting local restaurants and breweries.
