Steve enjoys interacting with clients and strives to assist them with achieving their personal legal objectives. Every client has individual needs and expectations, and Steve focuses his approach with an emphasis on accessibility, communication and specific goal attainment. He works with clients to help them understand both the intricate details and the “big picture” view of each particular case.

Steve assists clients across a wide range of legal matters. While he excels in general practice, some specific areas of focus include Commercial Law, Creditor’s Rights, Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, Collections, Contracts, Secured Transactions, Business Law, Business Formation, Wills and Estates, and Family Law.

Raised on Long Island, New York, Steve moved to Indiana in 1999 to attend the University of Notre Dame. He received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration in 2003. He completed a Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame in 2004, and then received his JD from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2007. He was admitted to practice law in the State of Indiana, the Southern District of Indiana, and the Northern District of Indiana in 2007.

From October 2007 through January 2018, Steve worked in a small law office setting where he was involved in traditional general practice, spanning various facets of business and family law in a wide variety of cases.

In February 2018, the office of Steven J. Kasyjanski, Attorney at Law was opened with the goal of providing better client focus with enhanced accessibility and flexibility.

Steve and his wife, Katie, reside in Zionsville with their daughter Emma. Steve enjoys coaching soccer, reading, DIY projects, and outdoor activities. He is a passionate sports fan, particularly of Notre Dame football.
