Richard is a USPTO Registered Patent Attorney who loves helping creative people realize their dreams. Rich received his BA from Princeton University, and then completed his physics coursework at San Francisco State University. Rich received his J.D. with Honors from the University of Oregon School of Law, where he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property for his coursework in patent infringement. Rich has a technical background in electronics, solid state and integrated circuits. Rich has practiced in patent litigation and military law, having served as an Army JAG Corps Captain stateside and overseas. After passing the USPTO Patent Bar, Rich worked in patent litigation for a prominent NPE assisting expert witnesses, drafting invalidity reports and writing patentability evaluations. Rich’s favorite practice is drafting patent applications with creative inventors.
