Phillip J. Jusino, a 1989 graduate of Fordham Law School in Manhattan and a 1986 Dean’s list graduate of Fordham University’s College of Business Administration with a concentration in finance, began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office prosecuting criminal matters in District Court and also in the Domestic Violent Unit.
After leaving the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office in 1991, Mr. Jusino entered private practice working at a law firm where he practiced in the areas of matrimonial and family law as well as criminal and civil litigation and real estate. Mr. Jusino also served on the Law Guardian Panel for five (5) years representing the interest of children as well as Litigants unable to afford legal representation.
Phil Jusino, who is also admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Washington, D.C. as well as in Federal Court, started his own law firm in 1998 in Lake Grove, New York and concentrates in the areas matrimonial and family law as well as criminal and civil litigation, real estate, personal injury law, corporate matters and wills and estates.
Mr. Jusino’s sister, Lisa Calla, is an associate to the firm. Lisa Calla served as an Assistant County Attorney in the Suffolk County Attorney’s office until 1998 when she left to enter private practice. Lisa Calla has also been a hearing officer for the Town of Smithtown since 1998.
Mr. Jusino’s Legal Staff consists of Elaine Titcher who is a knowledgeable and experienced legal assistant and Mr. Jusino’s father, Ozzie Jusino, who is a certified paralegal with excellent legal skills. Phil’s staff is cooperative and attentive to the needs of his clients.
