Mr. Johnson has been practicing law for over 27 years. He has been a partner in The Law Office of Johnson & Johnson since 1998. Mr. Johnson has personally conducted well over 100 jury trials in courts throughout the state and federal court. He has engaged in multiple 100s of hours of specialized training related to science and law. Among others, training includes issues related to brain injuries; signs and mimics of physical abuse; sexual abuse; child interviews; interrogation of witnesses; all manner of police misconduct; bone injuries, histology, pathology and neuro-pathology, so-called “shaken baby syndrome”, so-called “child abuse accommadation syndrome”; sexual assault investigation. Mr. Johnson has received advanced training in Gas Chromatography; Mass Spectrometry; and other methods of identifying and quantifying compounds and substances; as well has NHTSA certified training for DUI Investigation and Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement.
Mr. Johnson is regularly called upon to teach attorneys throughout the country on fundamental and complex issues related to criminal defense; and related to understanding science and conveying it to the Courts and Juries.
Mr. Johnson’s has conducted successful jury trials in everything from murder to driving under the influence; He has also successfully conducted federal court jury trials related to race discrimination, police misconduct and employment discrimination.
