Leslie A. Farber, Esq. has been practicing law since 1991. She received her undergraduate Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Drew University, and her Law Degree from Pace University School of Law. In law school, she was an editor of the Pace Law Review and participated in Pace’s Appellate Litigation Clinic. For the past 29 years, she has represented both individuals and businesses in many areas of litigation in state, federal and municipal courts from initial consultation through discovery, mediation, arbitration, trial and appeal, when necessary. Ms. Farber has lectured and published works in a variety of areas. She currently is a member of the regional New Jersey, New York, and Essex County Bar Associations, and the New Jersey Association of Justice and Essex County LGBTQ Advisory Board. Ms. Farber also is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Employment Lawyers Association–New Jersey, and was Chair and Legislative Coordinator of the LGBT Rights Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, and a Board member of the National LGBT Bar Association. Several of Ms. Farber’s cases have resulted in published, precedent setting decisions of the New Jersey Supreme Court, Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
