Deirdre A. Farrington opened Farrington Law Office in Crawfordville in July 2005. Farrington Law Office is a full-service law practice, offering assistance with family and juvenile law, bankruptcy, wills and trusts, and probate administration, among other legal services. Ms. Farrington is also a Florida Supreme Court certified family mediator. After earning her law degree in 1996 from George Mason University, Ms. Farrington became licensed in Virginia and from 1998 to 2002 ran a successful law practice in Hampton, Virginia, focusing primarily on criminal defense, juvenile law, and family law. In 2001, Ms. Farrington earned her Florida law license and in 2003 accepted a senior attorney position at the Florida Department of Health. Ms. Farrington is on the board of the Big Bend Office of the Public Guardian and volunteers with Legal Services of North Florida. She lives in Crawfordville. Ms. Farrington is a member of the Tallahassee Women Lawyers and the Wakulla County Chamber of Commerce.
