I have effectively represented persons accused of crimes throughout the State of Connecticut since 1989.
Formerly a Medical Technologist working in a hospital laboratory, I went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science Degree In Business Administration at Eastern Connecticut State University graduating magna cum laude in 1986. I earned my Juris Doctorate at Western New England College School of Law graduating cum laude in 1989. I was employed in the Public Sector as an Assistant Public Defender from 1989 to 1995 when I left State service and opened my own private practice.
A Member of the Connecticut Bar Association, Connecticut Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, National Lawyers Guild, Connecticut Trial Lawyers a Association, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Selected to the list of Preeminent Women Lawyers in 2012. AV rated by Martindale-Hubble 2011-2022 and selected to the list of Super Lawyers in Connecticut in 2011- 2019-2020-2021-2022.
I was fortunate to work for a prominent local law firm while in law school. They believed that the practice of law was a calling, not just a business. I have conducted myself and formed my private practice accordingly.
